Whitefield–Hoskote Road
Whitefield–Hoskote Road is a key East Bengaluru growth corridor linking Whitefield and Kadugodi with Hoskote through the Belathur, Kannamangala, Sannatammanahalli and Kattamanallur belt. The Whitefield-to-Hoskote road distance is roughly 12–15 km, depending on the starting point in Whitefield. The corridor connects with NH 75 near the Hoskote side and gives access to Whitefield’s IT parks, Kadugodi Metro, Whitefield Railway Station, Hoskote’s industrial belt and the Bengaluru–Chennai highway network.
Whitefield–Hoskote Road is seeing major infrastructure activity in 2026. Work started in May on the ₹35-crore Hope Farm underpass between Whitefield and Kadugodi. BMRCL is also studying a 16-km Purple Line extension from KR Puram towards Hoskote, while Hoskote remains an important junction for NH 75, the Satellite Town Ring Road network and the Bengaluru–Chennai Expressway. The Metro extension is still at the planning stage and should not be described as an operational or approved Hoskote Metro line.
Whitefield–Hoskote Road Map and Location
Whitefield–Hoskote Road runs east from the Whitefield–Kadugodi side towards Hoskote. It serves the fast-growing residential belt beyond established Whitefield, where areas such as Belathur, Kannamangala, Sannatammanahalli and Kattamanallur are seeing new housing and commercial development.
The corridor can be understood in five broad parts:
- Whitefield – major IT, residential and commercial hub
- Kadugodi – Metro, railway and established residential zone
- Belathur–Kannamangala – expanding apartment belt
- Sannatammanahalli–Kattamanallur – emerging township and mixed-use zone
- Hoskote – highway, industrial and regional transport hub
This location is different from central Whitefield. Housing becomes more spread out as the corridor moves east, while access to NH 75 and Hoskote improves.
Whitefield to Hoskote Distance and Travel Route
Whitefield to Hoskote is about 12–15 km by road from commonly used Whitefield starting points. Travel time is usually around 20–30 minutes in lighter traffic but can increase at Kadugodi, Hope Farm and other junctions during busy hours.
A common road movement is:
Whitefield → Kadugodi → Whitefield–Hoskote corridor → Kannamangala/Sannatammanahalli side → Hoskote
NH 75 is important for onward travel from the Hoskote side towards KR Puram, Budigere Cross, Kolar and the eastern regional road network.
Whitefield–Hoskote Road Connectivity
The corridor has road, Metro, railway and bus access, but each mode serves a different part of the journey. Whitefield and Kadugodi have the strongest public transport. The Hoskote- facing end still depends more on roads and buses.
| Transport Link | Current Role |
| NH 75 | Main highway link towards KR Puram, Hoskote, and Kolar |
| Whitefield–Kadugodi Roads | Connect the corridor with Whitefield and ITPL |
| Kadugodi Tree Park Metro | Purple Line access for the eastern corridor |
| Whitefield Railway Station | Rail and suburban travel point |
| SH 104 | Useful route towards the airport side |
| NH 648 / STRR Network | Regional link around Hoskote |
Whitefield–Hoskote Road Metro Connectivity
The Purple Line currently serves Whitefield and Kadugodi. It does not yet run to Hoskote. Buyers should not use KR Puram as the nearest Metro station for the Whitefield end of this corridor because the operational Purple Line already reaches Whitefield (Kadugodi).
A further Metro extension towards Hoskote is being studied. In January 2026, BMRCL was examining a roughly 16-km route from KR Puram to Hoskote, including the option of a Metro-cum-road double-decker corridor. Possible stations under study include Budigere Cross, Kattamanallur Gate, Hoskote Toll Plaza and central Hoskote. The feasibility study comes before a DPR and government approvals, so construction has not started.
Hope Farm Underpass Update 2026
Hope Farm is one of the most important junctions for people travelling between Whitefield and Kadugodi. Work on a long-delayed underpass finally started in May 2026. The project costs about ₹35 crore and includes a roughly 300-metre grade separator for Whitefield–Kadugodi traffic.
The project is important for Whitefield–Hoskote Road users because traffic heading from Whitefield towards Kadugodi passes through this side of the network. The civic agency had indicated a roughly 200-day construction period when work began. Temporary diversions can increase congestion while construction continues.
Hoskote STRR and NH 648 Connectivity
Hoskote is also part of Bengaluru’s wider Satellite Town Ring Road network. NHAI records a four-lane NH 648 section running from the Doddaballapur Bypass side to Hoskote between km 42 and km 80. This strengthens Hoskote’s role as a regional road junction rather than only an eastern suburb of Bengaluru.
For Whitefield–Hoskote Road, this matters because long-distance traffic can use Hoskote to move towards other peripheral Bengaluru corridors without entering the central city.
Bengaluru–Chennai Expressway and Hoskote
Hoskote is the Bengaluru-side gateway for the Bengaluru–Chennai Expressway corridor. However, the entire expressway was still not fully complete in August 2026. A report dated 4 August 2026 said pending work on the Tamil Nadu side continued to delay full completion. This distinction matters for buyers. The expressway is a major long-term infrastructure advantage for Hoskote, but the full Bengaluru-to-Chennai travel benefit should not be presented as completely operational yet.
Whitefield Railway and Future Suburban Rail
Whitefield Railway Station already gives the corridor conventional rail access. A further long- term rail boost is planned under the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project. K-RIDE lists the Parijaata corridor from Kengeri to Whitefield at 35.52 km with nine stations.
The suburban rail plan is useful for understanding future transport growth, but it should not be confused with a completed Whitefield–Hoskote suburban train service.
IT Parks Near Whitefield–Hoskote Road
The biggest demand driver on the western side of the corridor is Whitefield’s employment base. The road gives access to ITPL, EPIP Zone, Brigade IRV Centre, Bagmane offices and other Whitefield business parks.
For people living farther east, the main benefit is the ability to stay outside central Whitefield while remaining within driving distance of the IT belt. This is one reason large residential projects are moving towards Kannamangala, Sannatammanahalli and Hoskote.
Whitefield continues to attract new corporate demand. In August 2026, Sumadhura Group announced a ₹3,500-crore premium residential development on 17 acres in the Whitefield–Kannamangala corridor, showing continued developer interest in the eastern expansion belt.
Whitefield–Hoskote Road Real Estate 2026
Whitefield–Hoskote Road real estate does not have one reliable price for the entire stretch. Prices change sharply between established Whitefield, Kadugodi, Kannamangala and the Hoskote-facing end. Project age, builder, Metro distance and apartment quality also change the rate.
Current portal data shows this difference clearly. Housing.com lists a broad Whitefield–Hoskote Road average of about ₹6,388 per sq. ft., while new-project listings on the corridor include rates around ₹10,500 to ₹12,390 per sq. ft. Whitefield itself was averaging about ₹13,027 per sq. ft. on NoBroker in July 2026. These figures should therefore be used as market references, not as one fixed corridor rate.
Why Property Rates Change Across Whitefield–Hoskote Road
The Whitefield end usually commands a higher rate because it has established offices, Metro stations, malls and social infrastructure. Moving towards Hoskote can offer more land and larger developments, but buyers need to check the exact road, water source and last- mile transport.
Property prices mainly change with:
- Distance from Whitefield and ITPL
- Distance from Kadugodi Metro
- Access to NH 75
- Builder and project size
- Ready-to-move vs new-launch status
- Road width and approach
- Schools and hospitals nearby
- Water and civic infrastructure
- Future infrastructure already approved versus only proposed
Schools and Hospitals on the Whitefield–Hoskote Corridor
The corridor has education and healthcare on both sides. Whitefield provides large hospitals and established schools, while Hoskote has its own hospital cluster.
Important education options across the wider belt include VIBGYOR High School Kadugodi, Narayana schools, One World International School, National Public School Whitefield and Capstone High School.
Healthcare options include Silicon City Hospital, Ovum Hospital and MVJ Medical College on the Hoskote side, with Aster Whitefield and Manipal Hospital serving the Whitefield side. This gives residents a mix of local and tertiary medical care.
Shopping and Daily Needs
Retail is strongest towards Whitefield, but the eastern side is also adding local shopping. Major options include Orion Uptown, Park Square, Nexus Whitefield, VR Bengaluru and Phoenix Marketcity.
For a buyer, the important question is not simply whether a mall exists on the corridor. Check the actual drive from the selected project during evening and weekend traffic.
Brigade Granada on Whitefield–Hoskote Road
Brigade Granada is a new 40-acre mixed-use township in the Sannatammanahalli–Seegahalli belt of this corridor. The site is opposite VIBGYOR High School, Kadugodi, and around 750 metres from NH 75. It is about 6.5 km from Whitefield Railway Station, 8.2 km from Kadugodi Tree Park Metro Station and 9.3 km from Whitefield. The project plans 1, 2, 3 and 4 BHK apartments along with office, retail, hotel, hospital and school components. Its location shows how the Whitefield–Hoskote Road market is moving from small standalone developments towards larger mixed-use townships.
Whitefield–Hoskote Road Challenges
The corridor has strong growth drivers, but buyers should also understand its current limits.
- Peak-hour traffic remains heavy around Whitefield and Hope Farm.
- The Hoskote Metro extension is proposed, not operational.
- Some eastern stretches have weaker public transport than Whitefield.
- Road and civic infrastructure varies between micro-locations.
- Construction work can create temporary diversions.
- Water supply and drainage should be checked project by project.
These points are important because future infrastructure should support a purchase decision, not replace checks on present-day access.
Whitefield–Hoskote Road Latest Update August 2026
The main Whitefield–Hoskote Road updates to track in 2026 are the Hope Farm underpass work, the proposed KR Puram–Hoskote Metro feasibility study, STRR links around Hoskote and the remaining Bengaluru–Chennai Expressway work. Together, these projects can improve movement across East Bengaluru, but they are at different stages and should not all be treated as completed infrastructure.
