Is Kadugodi, Bangalore Rural or Urban?

Kadugodi is part of Bengaluru’s main urban area. It has apartments, shops, schools, hospitals and office access. Metro, train and bus services connect it with the rest of the city.

The confusion often comes from PIN code 560067. Kadugodi uses this PIN code. Some nearby village post offices also use the same number.

Property websites may use Kadugodi as a broad location name. They may include projects in Seegehalli, Kannamangala and Samethanahalli. These places are on the outer edge of East Bangalore.

A PIN code does not decide whether land is urban or rural. The district, village, taluk and local body shown in the legal papers give the correct details. The main Kadugodi area comes under Bengaluru Urban district.

Kadugodi was once a village on the eastern edge of Bangalore. The old village name is still used in land papers and survey records. Old Kadugodi also has traditional streets, temples and independent homes.

Today, Kadugodi is an urban suburb. Whitefield’s IT growth brought apartments, offices, schools and better transport to the area. A property paper may still use the word “village,” even when the site is within a built-up urban area.

Kadugodi is beside Whitefield in East Bangalore. Whitefield and ITPL are towards the west. Belathur, Seegehalli and Kannamangala are towards the east. Channasandra and Hope Farm are towards the south-west.

Whitefield Main Road is the main route towards ITPL and KR Puram. Whitefield–Hoskote Road runs towards Seegehalli and Hoskote. Kadugodi Main Road serves the old residential and market areas.

Road time can increase near Hope Farm and KR Puram. The Purple Line gives a direct Metro ride to KR Puram, Indiranagar, MG Road and Majestic. No train change is needed.

Whitefield (Kadugodi), Kadugodi Tree Park and Hopefarm Channasandra are the three main Metro stations. All three are on the Purple Line. The closest station depends on the exact part of Kadugodi.

Whitefield Railway Station is located on the Kadugodi side. It serves trains on the Bengaluru–Chennai route. Kadugodi Bus Station has regular BMTC buses to ITPL, KR Puram, Marathahalli, Majestic and Hoskote.

Brigade Granada is in the wider Kadugodi–Seegehalli urban belt. The site is at Sannatammanahalli, off Whitefield–Kadugodi Road, Bengaluru 560067. It is not in the old centre of Kadugodi. VIBGYOR High School is opposite the site, and NH-75 is about 750 metres away.

The project is on the eastern edge of the Kadugodi–Whitefield growth area. Whitefield Railway Station is 6.1 km away. Whitefield (Kadugodi) Metro Station is 8.4 km away, while ITPL is around 9.9 km away.

The final Karnataka RERA record should be used for legal address details. It will show the survey village, district and local authority linked with the project land.
